What does it mean that this conference is for ministry wives?

-The Shepherds' Wives Conference is a conference tailored to women who are in ministry alongside their husbands or for women who are in ministry themselves. The heart behind this conference is to minister to those who minister in the church. The wives of pastors, elders, deacons, ministry leaders, worship leaders, youth leaders, missionaries, etc. all fall under the category of a "ministry wife." The conference is also open to women who serve in leadership roles at their church - women's directors, children's directors, creative directors, media directors, etc. 

 

I'm not a ministry wife, can I please come??

-Yes! We love that so many women are wanting to attend this conference!

Why can't everyone come to the pre-conference lunch?

-The heartbeat behind the Shepherds' Wives Conference is to minister to, encourage, and equip pastors' wives. Still, many women desire to attend SWC. In an effort to keep the conference open to all women and also have some concentrated time with pastors' wives, we established the pre-conference lunch as a unique time of encouragement for the women in that role. If you are hoping for more time with our speakers, don't worry - they are all around and available throughout the entire conference and they love connecting with each of you!

 

What is the address of the church?

-The conference will take place at Crestwood Baptist Church, 6400 Sweetbay Drive, Crestwood, KY 40014

 

Is there a fee to park?

-Parking is free. 

 

What airport should I fly into?

-Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport is approximately 22 miles from CBC. If you are looking for (potentially) less expensive options, both Indianapolis International Airport and Nashville International Airport are approximately 3 hours away.

Can you arrange to pick me up at the airport? Take me to and from the conference?

-Each guest is responsible for their own transportation.

 

Do you have any hotels blocked off?

-SWC26 does NOT have any hotels blocked off. Cost is often less expensive when reserving accommadations online.

 

Do you have any scholarships available?

Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

-Refunds are available until June 15, 2026. Please contact Cindi at cindi@withthemaster.com.

 

I have dietary needs outside of gluten-free. Will you be able to accommodate me?

-Not at this time. You are welcome to bring your own Friday lunch and snacks as needed. 

 

Who is running this conference? Is there any male oversight?

-SWC is spearheaded by Susan Heck and Martha Peace. The conference falls under With the Master Ministries which is under the leadership of its board - Susan Heck, Justin Peters, David Gundersen, Matt Turkington, Cindi Gundersen, and Debra Pendergraft.
